Shopped late last Fri night and I worked for Safeway for 12 yrs as a seafood mgr. in the past and the store was absolutely beautiful ! Every single isle of every product were faced off and the freshness of the departments was outstanding! Very nice. 5 stars from me. The store manager should be very proud of his team leaders/department mgrs.

Great grocery store! I had an appointment with an in store nutritionist!! That was amazing!! Gained some knowledge on healthy eating. The store was clean and well stocked. They even have a drop off spot for your little ones!! Now that is cool. I'll be back!!

Overpriced, but their produce is usually better than the other grocery stores in the area. I LOVE the easy scan wand. That is probably the only reason I keep going back. Scan it, bag it, press check out on the scanner, pay and leave. I am willing to pay more for Martin's groceries just to save the extra 30 minutes I have at other stores check out.

Meat department, deli, bakery all have great variety. Good selection of groceries. Produce department is huge but unfortunately lacking in quality. Some of the greens and herbs are consistently way past the point where they should be out for their customers to buy and are literally composting on the shelves. I have pointed this out to managers and written letters to corporate, but nothing has improved. I buy the bulk of my produce elsewhere now. Hey management - take a drive out to Wegman's to see what decent produce should look like! Or even down the road to Weiss. They have you beat hands down, both in quality and price.

Not necessarily the best laid-out store (i.e. frozen fish is on the opposite end of the store from the frozen foods section), but it is made up for by having a good amount of very helpful and knowledgeable staff. OFTEN when you ask where something is, they escort you to it. Unlike the nearby grocery store that used to be my "go to" store where staff is cut SO short. Shopping in the evening, NOT late night (when I would expect shorter staging), it has taken me upwards of 12 - 15 minutes to get any help at the incorrectly named "customer service" counter. Martin's has put them to shame! Also notable here is how clean there store is. Lastly, subject to the primary duties being staffed, there they offer "Tree Tops" - free child care while you are shopping. That is a wonderful extra service they provide while other grocery stores are cutting staff and services - such as another store's butcher being rotated between many stores, therefore you can see him ONLY IF you can go to the store on the date and time they let him be at that store. There are good sales at the other stores, too, but for feeling overall as a valued customer, Martin's wins.
